Day 1 – Welcome to Ushuaia and explore local natural landscapes
The first day of your journey will begin at Ushuaia. First, you will arrive at the hotel. After, in the afternoon, you will explore the breathtaking Tierra del Fuego National Park, including its incredible scenery, waterfalls, forests, mountains, glaciers, and Fagnano and Roca lakes.
Besides, you will visit The Senda Costera (Coastal Path), connecting Ensenada Bay and Lapataia Bay on Lago Roca. It is a popular hiking trail in the park.
Day 2 – Discover the geographical sites
The second day of your journey will begin at discovering the local unique pearls. Besides, you will visit Lake Escondido and the little town of Tolhuin. In the afternoon, you will explore the Provincial Route “A”. You will take a gravel road heading toward the Atlantic Ocean and the San Pablo Cape.
Moreover, you will hike up to an isolated mountain with an abandoned lighthouse. You will discover the Desdemona, an abandoned ship with 40 years of histories.
Furthermore, you will continue to the Estancia Rolito. It is a lovely ranch that preserves the spirit of sheep farming tradition. Additionally, you can spend some time to walk around the gorgeous 500-hectare ancient lenga forest and thick green pathways. Also, you will visit the shearing shed where has some wool bales from the first shearing. Later, you will go back to your hotel.
Day 3 – Transfer to El Calafate
After breakfast, you will fly to El Calafate and arrive to the local hotel. You will have a free day to explore the city.
Day 4 – Discover Estancia and Perito Moreno Glacier
You will have an early start on the third day of your journey to drive across the old estancias road. You will learn more rural life of the Patagonian farms and the indigenous influence. Then, you will arrive at the Estancia. You will enjoy a typical barbecue with the best wines in the country.
After lunch, you will discover the South and Rico arms of Lake Argentino and disembark at Las Monedas beach for a walk in the wood.
In addition, you will reach the Perito Moreno Glacier. It is a huge ice mass covering a square km area and is one of the most wonderful glaciers in the world. Moreover, by waking along the footbridges for 2 hours, you can get closer to the glacier. Finally, you will return to El Calafate in the evening by minibus.
Day 5 – End of your journey
In the last day, you will transfer from El Calafate to the airport.
