Day 1 –Travel to Buenos Aires
Bienvenida a Argentina! Often referred to as “the Paris of South America,” Buenos Aires boasts this title while also showing off plenty of its own culture. Here, you’ll have a chance to enjoy Argentina’s famous barbecue, wine, tango, leather goods, street-side cafes, and much more!
A private shuttle will meet you at the airport and bring you to your hotel. You’ll then have the rest of the day off to enjoy Buenos Aires!
Day 2 – Buenos Aires City Tours & Tango Show
During the day, you will enjoy a guided city tour of Buenos Aires, which will include seeing the historic and political City Center, the cobbled streets of San Telmo, the multi-colored buildings of La Boca, and the trendy neighborhood of Recoleta.
In the evening, your driver will pick you up from your hotel and bring you to a dinner and Tango show! Enjoy Argentina’s classic dance style, while drinking its famous malbec wine.
Day 3 – Travel to Iguazu Falls
Your day will begin with a private shuttle to the domestic airport to take a flight to Iguazu Falls. Upon arrival, you will be driven to your hotel. This quaint and relaxing town is the perfect gateway to Iguazu Falls (which recently have been declared as one of the New Seven Natural Wonders!)
Day 4 – Iguazu Falls Tours: National Park, Argentine side
After breakfast, you will depart on a full day tour to the Argentine side of Iguazu Falls. Here you will enjoy stunning views of this section of the Iguazu River. A local guide will show you all the hidden gems of the park and venture off the beaten path to show you the best views. This immense 210 square mile reserve provides visitors with assorted views of the falls. You will finish the trip with a beautiful ecological train ride. After your tour, you will return to the hotel in the late afternoon. In the park there are many tours you can take for an additional cost. A recommended excursion is the “Gran Aventura” where you can sail the river and get up close to the falls (don’t forget to bring a change of dry clothes) This day will be full of thrills and spills and is an absolute must for the adventurer at heart.
Day 5 – Iguazu Devils Throat at Brazilian side
After breakfast, you will visit the Brazilian side of the Iguazu Falls. Here you will enjoy expansive panoramic views of the Falls. In the afternoon, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Buenos Aires. Upon arrival to Buenos Aires, you will take a private transfer to your hotel.
(Note: Brazil requires that most tourists have a visa to visit the Brazilian side of Iguazu Falls. Please check with the Brazilian Consulate to make sure that you have the correct visa before traveling or you will not be permitted to enter Brazil. US citizens, Canadians & Australians (and other nationalities) need a visa to visit the Brazilian side of Iguazu Falls)
Day 6 – One last day in Buenos Aires
On this last day of your Buenos Aires to Iguazu Falls Tour, enjoy any one of the miscellaneous Buenos Aires day trips that the city has to offer! Discover the cobbled tree lined streets of Palermo Soho, search for one of a kind Porteño fashion, relax in a cafe and enjoy a perfectly aged glass of malbec, sip some yerba out of your newly purchased mate gourd, or people watch in one of the many parks that makes up the Palermo Bosques. Later in the day you will take a private transfer to the international airport for your return flight home.
