Day 1 — Experience Inca and Colonial Cities
Begin your overnight tour with hotel, airport, or bus station pick-up in Cochabamba. From the city, travel through small Andean villages and breathtaking countryside to arrive at Bolivia’s largest Inca archaeological site, Inca Llajta.  This monumental fortress  and ceremonial site was once an important city in the eastern Inca Empire. At the time of its construction, the site was home to the largest roofed structure in the western hemisphere.

Explore the site with a knowledgeable local guide, who will help you discover the city’s rich history and its outstanding surviving ruins. Enjoy stunning panoramas of the surrounding valley, and discover the 100 foot (30 meter) waterfall that cascades through the heart of Inca Llajta. As you explore Inca Llajta, you’ll come across the nearby colonial town of Chimboata. Here, you’ll see the striking shift from Inca dominance to Spanish conquest in the region.

From Inca Llajta and Chimboata, you’ll travel to Totora where you’ll enjoy a tour of the city. Once an important trade route between the cities of Sucre, Potosi, and Santa Cruz, the city boasts outstanding and diverse architecture, an array of Bolivian cuisine, and a bustling market. Today, the city is still one of the major centers for the production of coca-leaves, potatoes and grain.

Enjoy dinner downtown at any of Totora’s small, delicious restaurants. For the night, you’ll get a good night’s sleep at the city’s best hotel — Villa Eva.

Day 2 — Explore Panoramic Aiquilewe
After breakfast, you’ll pack your bags and hit the road early for the ride to Aiquilewe. As you travel, you’ll pass cobblestone roads and mountain passes that rise over 13,000 feet (4000 meters) above sea level!

Upon arrival in Aiquile, you’ll get a chance to visit the local museum — dedicated to the traditional Andean stringed instrument, the Charango. where we will visit the interesting museum of the charango, typical string instrument! In the same museum you’ll get a look at the area’s archaeological finds, and appreciate the generations of humanity that have lived and thrived in the high mountains all around you.

In the late afternoon, you will leave Aiquilewe and arrive in Sucre in the evening. You’ll be dropped off at a hostal or hotel of your choosing.
