What do you know of the area outside the city of Manaus? Join us for a 7-hour tour as we bring you to 3 different tourist attractions, including the famous Rio Negro (“black river”), promising you an exciting adventure for the day.
First up, you will visit the ruins of Paricatuba, located right outside Manaus with your guide, who will explain to you about the history behind the city through its flora and fauna, including ferns and Apuís.
Then, paddle through the famous Rio Negro, starting from the Paricatuba Beach, on a kayak. This kayaking trip takes a total of 3 hours and covers about 8 kilometers in distance, with appropriate stops in between for you to swim in the river (if you wish), take any photos or simply to hydrate yourself. Depending on the sea levels, you can also take this opportunity to visit Rio Negro’s secluded beaches or surrounding small islands.
Last but not least, you will arrive at one of the most popular attractions of the northern region of Brazil – swimming with the dolphins! Watch these dolphins swim alongside with you as you kayak and get to know a little bit more of one of man’s best friends. We assure you, this will definitely be a therapeutic experience.
After lunch, you will also be able to swim in the waterfall of Castanho (available during the dry season of September – November), a perfect way to cool off all the exercise that you have done, before heading back to Manaus.
