This tour takes you to Rio’s historic downtown and along the Niemeyer architectural pathway, where you will see cultural and historic sites, and get a chance to stop in shoreside restaurants. You will visit the Santa Cruz fortress, which was originally built in the 1500s on Guanabara Bay and has been part of defenses against French and Dutch invaders. You will also go to the MAC de Niterói (the Niterói Contemporary Art Museum), an iconic building designed by Oscar Niemeyer that houses a huge collection of modern art.
