Laguna de Canaima is a dream place adorned with the eternal music produced by its waterfalls and the omnipresent tepuys that testify to us that paradise exists on earth. Salto Angel or Angel Falls is the highest waterfall in the world, with 979 meters of free fall. It is located in the Devil’s Canyon (Cañón del Diablo) in Mount Auyantepuy, which is 2,535 meters above sea level.
The best period to travel to this magic place is between May and September. As the rainfall increases, it provides the highest level of rivers and therefore, the most torrential waterfalls.
