This half day tour takes you up the Two Brothers Mountain (Morro Dois Irmãos) trail and stops in the Vidigal favela. The trail up the Two Brothers is 1 mile (1.6 kilometers) long and takes most hikers about one hour to get to the top of the 1,750 foot (533 meter) mountains. From the summit, you will enjoy some of the best views of Rio’s most iconic destinations, including Christ the Redeemer, Sugar Loaf Mountain (Pão de Açucar), the Tijuca Forest, and the Ipanema, Copacabana, São Conrado, and Leblon beaches. Along the way, you will stop in the Vidigal favela and your guide will tell you about life there.
