Located inside Lof Trankura, Cerro Penewe’s summit is made up of a forest of Araucarian trees, making it characteristic compared to the other hills present in the area. The Trankura community also regulates visits to this area and manages the care and protection of the rich diversity of the flora and fauna present. This local trail, crossing the 3 ancestral forests of Coigües, Lengas, and Araucarias, will allow you not only to delve into the scenic and green surroundings of the area but also to view the magnificent Trankura Valley at 1200 meters above sea level at the end.
