Once you arrive at the Grey base camp, your guides will give you all the necessary kayak equipment that you may need for the iceberg kayaking, like neoprene suit, waterproof jacket, and boots, poogies (kayak gloves), skirt, and life jacket.
After this, there will be a safety meeting where they will show the kayak you will use, along with the paddle, the route and weather conditions. When you get to Grey Lake, your kayak expedition involves paddling near large floating icebergs to the east side of the grey glacier and approaching the giant ice walls.
While you are resting and enjoying this amazing place with all its beauty, your guide will offer a snack and a hot drink and if the weather conditions permit it, you will pass by the island called Nunatak on the way back.
