Incredible views of the sunset – best pictures I took in Atacama! Our guide was very knowledgable about the natural landscapes, and she also told us interesting facts about the beautiful flamingos that live at the salt flats. This information made the experience of visiting the area so much more worthwhile. We also toured a small town that was celebrating a saint’s day and pet a llama. Our guide allowed us to take as long as we wanted to get the best pictures of everything. The food was also very good – fresh juice, sandwich wraps, chips, crackers, cheese, meat, and cookies. We didn’t need to buy dinner because we ate so much! This was one of my favorite experiences in Atacama. The salt flats are so surreal and beautiful!

The timing of this tour was perfect. The stop in Toconao is long enough to see some cool things without it taking over the trip. You’re given plenty of time to roam the salt flat before breaking for a rather filling array of snacks. And then you can go and pick a spot to relax and watch the sunset from. We were lucky enough to have some clouds in the sky that turned all different colors and reflected beautifully in the lagoon

Sunset was BEAUTIFUL!! I would go again just for that. Our tour guide was amazing! This is a must when visiting San Pedro.

This had actually one of the better sunsets that I saw while in San Pedro. The snack provided was more like a small meal with wraps, cookies, cheese, crackers, and juice. Also cool to watch the flamingos in the water.

By far the best sunset in the Atacama. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and was able to provide us with many facts about not only the land but the animals as well. The snacks were delicious and filling and honestly the best juice I have ever had in my life! Like I already mentioned, the sunset over the salt flat was extremely breathtaking and worth every penny spent. The stop in the small town was also enjoyable, but I definitely enjoyed my time at the salt flats the most! Highly recommended tour!
