First, you will be picked up at your hotel at 9:00 am. Then, you will go to the Casablanca Valley to visit the Emiliana Vineyard, a leader in South America for organic bio-dynamic wine production. On your tour, you can see free-roaming alpacas, sheep, and chickens. After the tour, you will have the opportunity to taste exquisite wines from the vineyard. You can also browse their shop for wine, homemade honey, olive oil, and alpaca wool.
Next, you’ll travel to Chile’s coast, to the small village of Mirasol. There, you will take a winding path through thick coastal vegetation to a remote beach to find an old Pirate Cave.
After that, you will continue driving on the coast to Algarrobo, a resort town. At the San Alfonso Resort, you can see the largest swimming pool in the Western Hemisphere. Nearby, you’ll eat lunch at a traditional restaurant. Afterwards, you’ll go to the colorful coastal village of Isla Negra. You’ll tour the Isla Negra Neruda house, the historic home of Pablo Neruda, a Nobel Prize-winning poet. Neruda build his house with a Pacific Ocean view, with an ship-themed interior, complete with seashells, keepsakes, and sea treasures. You’ll learn all about Neruda’s eccentric life and writing.
On the return to Santiago, we will pass through the Chilean countryside to the small handicraft village of Pomaire for leisurely browsing through the many shops and artisan workshops. Finally, you will be dropped off at your hotel at about 18:00 pm.
