We very much enjoyed this outing. The hike was a bit more demanding than we expected, jumped us up over 10,800′!!
For those of us coming from at our near sea level, the air is quite thin up there.
But the views of the Andes, up close and personal, were breathtaking; the bi-lingual guides were friendly, companionable, and very knowledgeable about their backyard. We were introduced to multiple medicinal plants, saw condors and the specified domestic raised condor re-introduction program area, saw the world’s smallest falcon, and a fox.
Out dinner served riverside was beautifully prepared and professionally served, and most welcome after the big hike.
    A thoroughly enjoyable day.
