Looking for an authentic Caño Cristales tour that combines nature hikes and cultural immersion?

On this 4-day tour with a local guide, you’ll experience the stunning River of Five Colors and learn about the culture of La Macarena, Colombia. Not yet well known by travelers, Caño Cristales is located in the remote Serrania de la Macarena National Park. On this Caño Cristales tour, we’ll take care of all the details of your trip so you can enjoy this secluded paradise.

The best time to visit Caño Cristales is between July and December, when the river amazes onlookers with its shades of yellow, green, blue, black and red — a spectacle found nowhere else on Earth. On this tour, you’ll discover hidden waterfalls, whirlpools, and natural swimming pools. While bathing in the “liquid rainbow,” Caño Cristales, you’re sure to spot some of the many unique plants and animals that live in the park.

The 4-day experience also allows you to spend ample time in La Macarena, a small and charming Colombian town. Dance with the locals and taste the delicious culinary delights. Your time in the region supports the local community, which has recently organized itself around ecotourism while maintaining its traditional culture.
