This tour focuses on taking you to the best handicrafts and local artisan markets in the city!

You will experience a true local immersion and find art pieces that are hardly found anywhere else. Your guide will introduce you to artisan vendors in the famous areas of Plaza de Bolivar, Parque Santander among other famous spots!

This is a true local immersion into the local artisan scene who produce only the best handicrafts available.

Itinerary

The first stop of this tour will be at the famous Plaza de Bolivar. Blocks away from the plaza is an alleyway that you will be taken to that specializes in handmade wooden kitchen utensils and wicker work.

After, you will be taken to the Artisan Shop at Parque Santander where you will find the famous mochilas of vibrant colors and all sorts of other hand woven items in the area. In addition, you will be able to experience different products of alpaca fur and wool. Once we finish the tour at Parque Santander you will be taken to the church of San Francisco where Colombian locals constantly work on offering the best colorful bracelets among other headpieces which are all handmade with the traditional shakira.

For the very last stop; there are two different options that are available. You will have the option to visit the August 7th, which is the largest district for commercial leather making or you have the option to visit Usaquen, which is located in the northern part of Bogota. This area is known to promote native Colombian indigenous peoples through the fair-trade of traditional handicraft and artisan work.

At the end of the tour, you will be driven back to your hotel or preferred location within the city.
