Encounter History and Rustic Charm on this Villa de Leyva Multi-Day Tour

As you wander along the charming cobblestone of Villa de Leyva, past white-washed facades and rustic wooden doors, it’s easy to feel transported back in time. Founded in 1572, Villa de Leyva is far from big cities, main roads, minerals, and mines and has survived 500 years nearly untouched by the modern world.

Named a Colombian National Monument in 1954, the village has dedicated the last half century to preserving its outstanding architecture and historic value. Since then, Villa de Leyva has flourished into the perfect getaway — complete with cozy boutique hotels, nearby trails and archaeological sites, a thriving artisan community, and a charming sense of being suspended in time.

This Villa de Leyva multi-day tour is perfect for travelers who want to experience more than just an overview, and who are ready to relax, explore, and discover the highlights and hidden gems of the village and its surrounding countryside.
