Marino Ballena National Park, near the village of Uvita on the Pacific Coast, is one of the most beautiful national parks in Costa Rica. During this tour, you will visit the stunning white sands of Punta Uvita, Colonia, Arco, Ballena, and Piñuelas as well as Ventanas’ Caves by boat. Your knowledgeable guide will help you discover some of the marine life living in this tranquil part of the world. Many species of dolphin call the Pacific Coast of America home, such as the Bottle Nosed, Common, Rough Toothed, Pantropical, and Pacific Spotted dolphins. If you’re lucky enough you might even spot a Humpback, or Pilot whale! The coral reefs around Ballena Rock and Tómbolo Punta Uvita are rich with marine life. During the afternoon hike, you can learn about Marino Ballena National Park’s history, animals and plants. Spot sloths, birds, and reptiles as well as orchids, butterflies, and exotic tropical trees.
