One and a half hours drive from Punta Uvita lies one of Costa Rica’s crown jewels, the spectacular Corcovado National Park, rich in bio-diversity and stunning scenery. From Corcovado’s northernmost station, San Pedrillo, you can explore the dense jungle during an hour and a half hike. With your guide’s help, discover the range of species populating this part of the jungle, such as White-Faced and Howler monkeys, White-Lipped peccaries, Scarlet macaws, Coati, and more. After lunch you will walk to a secluded waterfall, where you can swim in the river nearby or simply relax and take photos in this stunning part of the world. For those interested, we also offer tours to Sirena Station. This station is located along the pacific coast in the middle of the national park, where the most abundant and interesting wildlife dwells. You’ll see Scarlet macaws, Baird’s tapir, monkeys, peccaries, iguanas, sloths, lizards, and a wide variety of plants, amphibians and insects.
