Jump aboard a catamaran for a half day of spotting ocean wildlife and relaxing. This ride will take you to the Manuel Antonio Marine Preserve along the Manuel Antonio coastline, which is full of dolphins, sea turtles, whales, and tropical ocean birds. The boats themselves will have fresh fruits, brochettes, grilled fish, pasta salad, and drinks for you to enjoy a lunch or dinner (depending on your departure time). The tour is led by the boat’s captain and a naturalist guide, both of whom are bilingual in Spanish and English. Your itinerary is flexible in terms of the order of activities, but you will sail in search of marine life, anchor for snorkeling, and enjoy a delicious meal at sea.
About the Boats
Depending on your group size, you will either board The Spanish Dancer, a 37 foot (11 meter) sailing sport catamaran, or The Tom Cat, a 60 foot (18 meter) shaded sailing catamaran. Both boats are fully equipped for safety, comfort, and entertainment, including U.S. Coast Guard-approved life preservers and snorkel equipment.
Departure times: 8:30 am or 1:30 pm (depending on season)
