After your local guide gives you an explanation of the area, volcanoes, vegetation, and animals, you will be able to enjoy the incredible Andean landscapes and observe some of the mountains and volcanoes. You will hike to the refuge at 4800 meters above sea level, and then climb another 30 minutes to the edge of the glacier where you can take in spectacular views of the ice caves.
