Day 1: Discover Santa Cruz Highlands
At your arrival to Galapagos you will take the bus to the Itabacca channel and then cross with a ferry.
On the other side a driver will wait for you and drive you to your hotel.
In the afternoon join a shared tour to the highlands.
Where Scalesia trees dominate; creating a lush green color scenery.
Afterwards, tour a 600-acre private reserve where giant Galapagos Tortoises freely roam.
Walking among the tortoises in the wild certainly will a memorable part of your trip.
After visiting the prehistoric creatures in their natural habitat, ride to the entrance of a 1350 feet (450-meter) illuminated lava tunnel.
With a ceiling nearly 20 feet (6.1 m) high in most places and covered by impressive lava stalagmites and stalactites.
Day2: Observe the unique wildlife
On the second day of your Galapagos Ecuador Island Hopping tour, discover North Seymour Island; teeming with life.
Where you might have to give way to a passing sea lion or marine iguana.
And observe Blue-footed boobies nest on either side of the trail and mating pairs perform their courtship dance.
The trail in North Seymour Island turns inland to reveal the largest nesting site of the magnificent frigate bird on the Galapagos Islands.
Day 3: Kicker Rock Snorkeling and Diving
In the morning, take a Speedboat to San Cristobal.
And head to snorkel and dive at Kicker Rock, also called “León Dormido” (sleeping lion).
Which is a magnificent rock formation shaped like a giant sleeping lion located off the coast of San Cristobal.
The rocks are remnants of a vertical tuff stone formation and shelters several species of seabirds.
There, you may observe not only many Galapagos and hammerhead sharks, but also sea turtles, octopuses and an array of tropical fish.
Day 4: Española
Visit Junco Lagoon, the only freshwater lagoon on Galapagos and located 650 meters above sea level.
Making it a good viewpoint to watch the changes in vegetation that cover the islands.
And witness dozens of frigates fly above the lake and brush the water with their wings.
Spot striking endemic plants such as the Lecocarpus Leptolobus and Calandrinia Galapagosa during the trip.
And see the otherworldly forest of Opuntia Cactus. Then visit the beach to watch Darwin’s finches, blue-footed boobies and pelicans.
Day 5: Flight back
Your journey ends and you take your flight back to Quito or Guayaquil.
