The Galapagos Islands is a volcanic archipelago in the Pacific Ocean. Located about 970 km (600 miles) west of mainland Ecuador, it is considered one of the world’s foremost destinations for wildlife-viewing. Join us on a 5-day trip as we bring you to explore the Galapagos Islands and be in the midst of marine life!

On the first day of the tour, you will depart in the morning departure to Baltra Island, where you will then transfer at Santa Cruz Island. Once you arrive at your hotel in Puerto Ayora, you will have lunch, before heading towards a private ranch located in the high area of the island in the afternoon. You will walk through paths marked among the vegetation of the place – a lava tunnel approximately 800 meters long – and be able to find a large number of freshwater turtles in their natural state before calling it a night.
On the second day, you will take a 3.5-hour speedboat ride to Isabela Island, where you will check in to your hotel and visit the area known as “Islote Tintoreras”, named after white fin sharks known as Tintoreras. You will also be able to observe other animals such as penguins, sea lions, and marine iguanas, before going for a snorkeling trip with sharks and a variety of multicolored fish. Dinner will be at the hotel.
On day 3, you will visit Sierra Negra Volcano early in the morning after breakfast, located XXX km (13 miles) from Puerto Villamil and is the second longest crater in the world, measuring approximately XXXX km (6 miles) in diameter and XXXX meters (300 feet) deep. You will take a bus for approximately 45 minutes to the control site of Galapagos National Park, and then start a hike to Sierra Negra Volcano. You will return to the hotel in the afternoon, and after a short break, you will be ready to snorkel or swim in Concha Perla, where you can observe colorful fish, sea urchins, some sea lions, and sea turtles. The day ends with dinner at the hotel.
For the fourth day, you will visit Los Tuneles Cabo Rosa, which are ancient lava formations populated by various wild animals. On this 4.5-hour tour from Puerto Villamil, you will get to explore the lava tunnels and observe Galapagos species such as blue-footed boobies, sea lions, penguins and albatrosses. In addition, you will also have the option of diving in the crystal clear waters that surround the tunnels before returning to the hotel at Isabela Island for the night.
On the last day, after breakfast at the hotel, together with the guide you will return to Baltra airport to take the return flight back to Quito or Guayaquil.
