Day 1


Arrival in Quito city

Airport Transfer, pick up at the airport welcome to Quito UNESCO city, the biggest, best-preserved colonial city of America was already in 1978 as a UNESCO World Heritage Site declared. The city is considered the Cultural Capital of South America and the second most important city of the old Inca Empire.
Depending on arrival time, you can spend your day exploring the old town of Quito and the surrounding area. We also can help you to organize a day trip such as: • Quito City tour (including a visit to the equator line) • Mindo Cloud forest • Cotopaxi national park • Quilotoa Crater Lake • Otavalo indian market • Papallacta hot springs, and many more….
In the evening, one of our trip leaders will organized a welcome meeting to talk about the Galapagos expedition and after you will go out for dinner at local restaurants to see the real Quito night life..

Day 2

Galapagos – Santa Cruz island

Flight to Galapagos – kayak in Punta Estrada

Today we get ready to explore the most amazing archipelago in the Pacific coast and the place where Charles Darwin based its theory of the evolution of species, a magical place where dreams of swimming with sea lions, turtles and fish are a reality.
We board a morning flight from Quito to the island of Baltra. Once arrived, we head to the town of Puerto Ayora, the biggest town in Galapagos.
In the afternoon we will enjoy our kayaking expedition in Punta Estrada to view sea turtles, rays and sharks as well as the fantastic volcanic formations into the sea.

Day 3

Santa Cruz island

North Seymur – hike and snorkel

Today we go to North Seymour, is an small island and is the home of many different species of animals, here is the best place to see the frigate birds with red balloon, the very romantic blue footed boobies dance, land and marine iguanas, Galapagos sea lions and fur seals, and other sea birds as swallow-tailed gulls, shearwater, and tropic birds, this walk takes around 2 hours in this magic place.
After the walk we go back to the boat for lunch, and then we sail to Bachas beach which is a nesting area for sea turtles and there is small lagoon where flamencos can be seen occasionally, and we do snorkelling activity.

Day 4

Isabela island

Tortuga bay and Isabela

Amazing morning by the best beach in the archipelago tortuga bay exploring cristal color waters and white sandy beaches pack with wildlife.
In the afternoon we board a  fast boat to Isabela, the largest island in the archipelago and the place where most volcanic activity in the Galapagos is reported. The island is being formed by 6 shield volcanoes, Alcedo, Cerra Azul, Darwin, Ecuador Sierra Negra and Wolf, 5 of them still active and therefore the island is one of the most volcanically active place on earth. During our island crossing, we will be on the lookout for dolphins and whales (July to October).

Day 5

Isabela island

Hike to Sierra Negra and Tintoreras

After driving up from Puerto Villamil to the trailhead, we prepare our backpacks and hike into a young dry forest ecosystem, into a world of recent geological history. Our destination is the rim of Sierra Negra Crater, an active volcano which last erupted in October 2005. Upon arrival, we take in breathtaking views and explore the circumference of the massive, lava-filled crater, over six miles across at its widest point. If we feel energetic enough, we can continue our hike to Vulcan Chico, a secondary crater that has a wild landscape of puffing fumaroles and colorful lava formations, great examples of the dramatic geological events that have forged the Galapagos Islands over millennia.

In the afternoon we will visit the Tintoreras Islet on a shared tour, located a short distance from Puerto Villamil and is the home to a great variety of wildlife. Its turquoise, crystalline waters are inhabited by white-tipped reef sharks, Galapagos Penguins, marine turtles and sea lions. One of its beaches, surrounded by mangroves is one of the few sites where marine iguanas can reproduce successfully.

Day 6

Lava Tunnels – Isabela

Lava Tunnels snorkeling

Today, we explore the amazing formations of lava created by the last eruptions of the Volcanic Island along the seashore. This magical place is been used by the staff of BBC /National Geographic for documentaries. It is a labyrinth of lava arches inside the breakers with crystal clear water full of huge sea turtles, eagle rays, sea lions, fish, white tipped reef sharks and more. Turtles navigate their own highway from the mangroves to the open sea through “Los Tuneles”. Over here, we will have the best snorkeling opportunity with all these beautiful animals, including the curious Galapagos penguin playing around.

In the afternoon is optional to go biking to the Wall of Tears.

Day 7

Santa Cruz island

Santa Cruz highlands & Charles Darwin research station

In the morning we embark in a fast boat from Isabela to Santa Cruz Islands. During our island crossing, we will be on the lookout for dolphins and whales (July to October). Once we arrive, we will check in at the hotel. We have time to visit the Charles Darwin Research Station to learn more about many of the endemic species we met during our adventure, as well as the ongoing conservation and management efforts on the Galapagos Islands.

In the afternoon, we head to “El Chato” Reserve in the highland of Santa Cruz, home to the famous Galapagos tortoise. Hiking through El Chato’s beautiful scenery with those lumbering giants is an unforgettable experience! We also see other highland wildlife such as pintail ducks, egrets, flycatchers, and finches on our hike. We can also observe frigate birds which gather to wash the salt off their feathers at a fresh water lake.

We return to Puerto Ayora to spend the evening at leisure in the Galapagos’ most populous town.

Day 8


Transfer to Baltra airport – flight back to Quito

After our final breakfast on the Galapagos Island and the last photos taken of sea lions, we have a transfer to Baltra’s airport in time to catch the flight back to the mainland.

Day 9

Quito – Departure

Water temperatures: The waters of the Galapagos Islands are a unique mixture of warm and cold water, ranging between 65ºF and 85ºF

Weather temperatures: December to May: 80ºF to 90ºF / 25ºC to 30ºC. June to September: 60ºF to 70ºF / 15ºC to 20ºC. October to December: 70ºF to 80ºF/ 15ºC to 25ºC

Difficulty level: Moderate to Challenge. This program is located in The Galapagos Islands, includes multisport activities, long hike to the Sierra Negra volcano, snorkeling almost every day, sea kayaking to view wild life, and biking mostly on flat roads.

Meals: Travelling with our company you will have the possibility to experience and taste local food and snacks. Your guide will help you identify typical food and suggest the best places to enjoy it. Some meals are not included in order to give you some flexibility about where, what and with whom to eat. You have the option to share these meals with the group, however there is no obligation to do this. If you have any allergies or food restrictions, please inform us prior to your departure.

Accomodation: All prices are based on double-occupancy. If you are travelling solo, you will be matched with another participantof your same sex. If you prefer to have a single room, please contact us prior to your departure to arrange your accommodation at an extra cost.
