Day 1: Your adventure tourism in Mexico experience will begin on the water. Go rafting across the most wonderful scenery in Mexico as you paddle down the thrilling Tampaon river rapids. Encounter spectacular limestone rock formations carved over millennia by the river. End the day with a delicious lunch on the river bank.
Day 2: Rappel down a waterfall! Rappel 50 meters alongside the waterfall, and enjoy the rushing water and astounding view. Later, hike to a blue lagoon, and continue to the Micos River, where you will be free to jump from its 7 waterfalls!
Day 3: Explore the surrealistic garden of Edward James. This place has stunning concrete structures placed in a labyrinth. You’ll feel like you’re in a fairy tale as you explore the surrealist landscape. In the afternoon, visit the town of Xilitla for lunch. Then, head to Huahuas cave where endemic birds life and find shelter. Watch sunset at the park.
Day 4: Set out on a ‘pangas’ — a large canoe paddled upstream — to reach Santa Maria’s fourth canyon, an amazing underwater cave with warm, crystal-clear water. Here, you’ll be able to swim in a relaxing and quiet place. Later you’ll head upstream t0 the Tamul waterfall.
Day 5: Experience the Bridge of the Gods, a marvelous rocky cave where the sunlight creates unique light effects on the beautiful blue water. In the afternoon, travel to the Tamasopo waterfalls, adventure in the rainforest, and swim!
Day 6: Visit the most important archaeological zone for the Huaxteca culture: Tamtok. Then travel to the sulfuric waters of Taninul, inside the protected zone located on the Sierra Abra Tanchipa.
