About Huatulco

Mexico’s Huatulco region is home to 36 stunning beaches spread across nine bays — boasting warm waters and golden sands. The outstanding Huatulco National Park stretches across 29,000 acres (~12,000 hectares) of Huatulco’s land and sea, as well as Mexican Pacific’s most import coral reefs.

More than 700 species of animals live in the protected reefs and park, providing opportunities for snorkeling, birdwatching, and hiking. Its biodiversity and pristine landscapes make Huatulco a favorite destination of nature lovers. In 2010, Huatulco received EarthCheck Gold Certification for sustainable tourism — it is the only destination in the Americas to achieve this distinction.
