On this Kantun Chi Tour, venture deep into the jungle of the Mayan Riviera to find the Kantun Chi Ecopark. This ecological paradise will amaze you with its natural beauty. Tour a cave system with crystalline underground rivers and ancient rock formations of stalagmites and stalagtites. The cavern was only recently discovered and has two cenotes, connected by natural hallways. You can swim, snorkel, or rent small kayaks to explore the cenotes. After your cave tour, you can relax at the other cenotes in the ecopark. Join us for an unforgettable day in one of the most beautiful places in Mexico!

Once you get to Kantun-Chi EcoPark, you will receive all the gear you need for your expedition into “Xibalbá,” the Mayan Underworld. Over 45 minutes to one hour, your guide will show you every corner of the beautiful and fascinating caves. As you go through crystal-clear water, you will learn how the caves formed.

After your underground adventure, you will enjoy lunch in our “Lol-ha” (Flower of Water) Restaurant. Try local dishes with chicken, fish, and pork. You’ll also have a small appetizer, dessert, and fresh fruit water. Your favorite cocktails are also available at an additional cost.

After your delicious meal, you can relax in hammocks in the main garden or explore on your own the 4 gorgeous cenotes of the ecopark.

Important Notes

  • Be prepared to get wet, since the water is deep enough in parts to reach the chest of an average adult.
  • Children under 5 years old or 39 inches in height (1 meter) are not allowed to participate in the Cave Adventure activity. This tour is not recommended for people with the following conditions: pregnancy, claustrophobia, hypertension, diabetes, asthma, heart problems, overweight, or with mobility problems.
  • To avoid contamination of the water, the use of sunscreen, tanning lotions, and non-eco-friendly mosquito repellent is not allowed.
