Arrive at St. Paul’s Church, Cardo #4 at San Miguel de Allende by 9:00 am for your 9:15 departure. You will make a short transfer to the first gallery and spend approximately 45 minutes at each site.
Gallery 1: Arrive at the studio an artist whose work deals with imaginary spaces that utilize texture and biomorphic forms that take a viewer to uncharted territory. Her drawings demonstrate the known world with infinite care, and she manipulates reality with intensely beautiful lines.
Gallery 2: Walk two short blocks to your next next studio. The artist’s prints make visible an appropriated history of our world with a myriad of layers and processes. Her jewelry incorporates delightful debris found in drawers and the presentation of her work is magnificently sophisticated.
Gallery 3: Arrive at a well-known clay studio and work-space of four separate artists. Each of the four artists has a different aesthetic approach in their work. You will see tender, tough, elegant and powerful styles — the full gamut of glazes and personal identity.
Gallery 4: Drive to the unique studio space of a multi-talented artist, botanist, and writer. This amazingly diverse artist experiments in different media with unusual textures and colors. Her paintings, ceramics, and jewelry are a dream world of magical surrealism.
After leaving the final gallery, your group will drive to the nearby countryside to enjoy lunch at a beautiful hacienda. The food and relaxing ambiance will delight your palette and soothe the soul.
Your last stop will be to visit to a “master gallery” that delights and amazes even the keenest collectors. This gallery holds the best authentic artesanal work made in Mexico. The gallery hosts works by the most famous Mexican master artisans — all available for purchase and admiration.
