We cannot guarantee that we can see or snorkel with whale sharks. The whale sharks come to Cancun to feed on plankton. When there is not much plankton, it is more difficult to see whale sharks. We recommend booking a reservation between mid-June and August for the highest possibility of seeing whale sharks.
You may not touch the whale sharks and diving with the whale sharks is not allowed (only snorkeling). You must wear a life jacket while snorkeling.
