Located in the mountains of Canas, the province of Los Santos is an innovative project that has attracted thousands of visitors to its island and is a perfect example of what a community can do when it comes together for tourism.
This tour starts with an introduction to what is included in the hike and canopy tour. Afterwards, you will be paired up with a community trained guide who will take you on your hike and to the canopy area.
After all the safety instructions along with presentations, your guide will then take you on the hike through the mountains of Isla Canas and your guide will explain the large amount of biodiversity that exists in the mountains of Venao Beach and take you to one of the most beautiful viewpoints of the community where you will be able to look down upon the beautiful valley of Tonosi.
Once you’re done hiking around and seeing for yourself the beautiful Isla Canas your guide will then go ahead and take you to the canopy area where you’ll be able to see the island from a birds eye view!
Try something different and put your trust into rural community tourism as you experience the beautiful Isla Canas on this hiking and canopy tour!
