Be ready to paddle in a week all main rivers that Panama has to offer. Each river with its own unique enviroment will give you a refreshed new day every day. From the pristine jungles of Chagres National Park to the wild water of Chiriqui you will get to know our Panama.
We start from easy rivers progressing to more challenging rivers. Special for nature lovers, river rats, everyone that enjoy paddling in the outdoors
Panama City Arrival
Upon your arrival you will be welcomed by our guides at the International Airport and then be transferred to Hotel Marbella in Panama City.
A welcoming meeting will be held at 7pm in the Hotel Lobby.
You will have an early start on day 2 as the day will start at 5am and you will be taken to a remote village called San Cristobal which resides past the mountains of Cerro Azul.
After reaching the village you will hike within the beautiful Chagres National Park up to the Rio Piedras and raft downstream into the scenic jungle of the Chagres.
After rafting down you will set up camp with your guides around 4pm and get ready for a cozy night to end the adventure of day 2
Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner will be served.
Indigenous Embera Village
After eating breakfast you will then embark on a small trek to Madden Lake and be taken from there on a native wooden canoe to visit the native Embera people of Panama. The Embera people are native to Chagres National Park since 20 years ago when they moved from the Darien.
You will immerse yourself into the Embera culture and after learning about their culture and history you will be driven to the Santa Clara Beach and enjoy the beauty of white sands and blue waters.
Overnight in Hotel Veraneras, breakfast and lunch will be served.
Day 4 will be an early start and you will be taken to Rio Grande.
Upon arrival you will get ready to raft / kayak down the river.
After rafting you will then be transported to the beautiful coffee capital of Panama, Boquete, in Chiriqui province and spend the rest of the evening by exploring the area.
Lodging will be in Casa Romero – Lunch will be provided on this day.
White Water River Rafting, Chiriqui
After an early breakfast, you will head toward the border with Costa Rica, at Paso Canoas. Close by, you will put in on a breathtaking, adrenaline rush, rafting tour on the Chiriqui Viejo River with most rapids being Class III-IV. The river passes through a canyon and spectacular waterfalls characterize it. Depending on the water level and section used it you will be rafting about 3-4 hours.

Chiriqui, Hike the Cloud Forest
After breakfast, you will begin the hike in ‘Los Quetzales’ – a very scenic trail that starts from Cerro Punta and goes to Boquete while crossing the famous Baru Volcano National Park.
With some luck, your guide will be able to show you the beautiful Quetzal, a bird specie that is only found in the cloud forests of Central America. This hike will last around 4 to 5 hours and after the hike your driver will take you to David Airport and return to Panama City.
Hotel Marbella – Lunch will be provided
Mamoni River or Paconi
Day 7 will be spent paddling down either Mamoni or Paconi river which is a 1.5 hour drive from the Capital.
The whole day will be spent enjoying the beauty of either one of these rivers!
Hotel Marbella – Breakfast and Lunch will be served.
After breakfast, you will be transported to the Tocumen Airport and return home!
