4 Days/3 Nights


Day 1: Arrival to Cusco and City Tour

Welcome to Cusco! The tour provides transportation from the international airport of Cusco to your booked hotel. Depending on what time your flight gets into Cusco, you will have the morning to rest and get adjusted to the change in altitude and climate.

The tour begins at 1:30 PM (13:30) for an intensive visit in and around the city of Cusco with a focus on the phenomenal Inca constructions. We begin with Cusco’s Cathedral, then onto Qoricancha and the archeological sites on the outskirts of the city – the ancient sectors of Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay.

You will have the night to enjoy a stroll through the city or enjoy a delicious dinner in one of the many restaurants the city has to offer.

Day 2: Sacred Valley

After your early morning breakfast, the tour begins with a hotel pick-up between 8:00 AM-8:30 AM to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. We start the drive to the town of Pisac where we will begin with a visit to its famous artisan market, following by a visit to the archaeological site on the mountain above town.  Then we head to the town of Urubamba, where we will have a buffet lunch at a local tourist restaurant.

In the afternoon, we head towards the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo, a place of rest and the strategic step towards the Inca trail, full of history and magic; at night, we board the train to Aguas Calientes chosen where one of our representatives will be waiting to take you to the chosen hotel.

  • Town of Pisac
  • Town of Urubamba

Tonight’s lodging is in Aguas Calientes.

Day 3: Machu Picchu

Be prepared for an early morning and breakfast. Wake before dawn to take the bus up to the mountaintop citadel to watch the sunrise over the majestic peaks surrounding this magical place, filling the ancient city with the beautiful light of a new day. If you choose to purchase an entrance ticket to Huayna Picchu Mountain, then it is also possible to make the ascent to watch the sunrise from this natural lookout point. The hike is about an hour from the main citadel.

Afterward, there will be a guided tour for about two hours, followed by free time to explore on your own. After lunch, we will begin our journey back to Cusco with a train ride back to the station of Ollantaytambo.

Day 4: End of the Tour

Today we say goodbye to the beautiful Cusco and Sacred Valley as your excursion of Cusco, Sacred Valley, and Machu Picchu in 4 days comes to an end. Enjoy a a warm breakfast at the hotel. Depending on the departure time of your flight, our private transportation service will pick up from your hotel and transfer you to the Cusco airport for your next adventure.

Important Notes

  • Prices are based on double occupancy, if you are travelling solo, please contact us
  • Please note that this excursion will take you to higher altitudes. Cusco rests well above 3,400 meters (over 11,200 feet) above sea level, so it will be important to remain hydrated, both leading up to the tour and throughout the tour.
  • You can decide on the train service of your choice, either Expedition, Vistadome or Hiram Bingham to the town of the Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Pueblo).
