This Huchuy Qosqo Trek takes you through amazing scenery to an Inca village. Huchuy Qosqo (also spelled Yuchuy Cuzco) was founded about 1400 CE and includes a beautiful stone castle and a variety of stone walls. You will also see walls made from mud bricks and beautiful gates that accessed this sacred Inca fortress. As you hike, marvel at breathtaking views of farming terraces, snow-capped mountains, and fields of big-kernel Peruvian corn.

You will be picked up by 7:00 am from your hotel to go 1.5 hours by private car through beautiful valleys to the starting point of the hike. Next, enjoy the amazing views as you hike through the mountains of the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
After about 3 hours of hiking, you will reach the Inca ruins of Huchuy Qosqo. You will have 2 hours to explore. Huchuy Qosqo used to be an Inca village and has beautiful ruins of the urban area, along with amazing farming terraces. You can also see the watchtowers that protected the village.
Next, you will have a packed lunch and then hike for 2 hours downhill. You will be taken back to Cusco on a 1 hour drive and dropped off at your hotel by 18:30 pm.
