Start and end location: Lima
Availability: Year-round

To start off your Lima Sightseeing Tour, your guide will pick you up from your hotel (Miraflores, Barranco, San Isidro, and Lima Center areas only). Then, you’ll take the Metropolitano bus or a local taxi to Barranco. In this bohemian area of Lima, you will stop by the main park, the old Ermita, the Mirador, and the Bridge of Sighs.

Next, you’ll go to the Lima Historical Center to visit the Plaza San Martin, the second most important plaza of Lima. Admire the art deco and nouveau styles of the crowded Jiron de la Union, finishing in the Main Plaza of Lima. Around the main square, you’ll encounter the Government Palace, City Hall, La Casa del Oidor, Cathedral, Archbishopric, Old Bronze Fountain, Taulichuso’s Stone, Pasaje Olaya, and Club de la Union.

As you walk in the city, you will see the Desamparados Train Station and Cordano Bar, the oldest bar in the city. After that, you have options about what to see next. You can stop by the San Francisco Church to marvel at the religious art and catacombs, paying an entry fee of 15 Peruvian soles per person (about $4.50 USD). Alternately, you can go shopping for souvenirs. Your guide can help you bargain and find the best deals. The third option is going to get lunch or snacks in a local restaurant. Again, your guide is a great source of advice and recommendations.  Finally, you will be taken back to your hotel.
