There are 3 options to climb this volcano:

Half Day Trek
You will be picked up from your hotel around 5:00 am and transferred to the starting point for the hike. We’ll trek as a group for between 3 to 4 hours as we ascend the volcano. From the top you’ll capture incredible views of neighboring volcanoes and enjoy a prepared lunch. Afterwards, we’ll start climbing down (around 2.5 hours).

2 Day / 1 Night Adventure:
Take things a bit more slow and enjoy your time to soak in the surrounding natural beauty. On this 2 day adventure you’ll spend the first day ascending up the volcano. After 4 to 5 hours of hiking we’ll arrive at our accomodations for the night. You’ll spent the night at local accommodation and experience the peace and quiet sleeping on the Santa Maria Volcano. After breakfast, we’ll start our descent down Santa Maria volcano and arrive back in town around 11 am.

Night Trek
You will be picked up from your hotel around midnight and start the hike in the dark of the night. Together, with your local guide, you’ll fight off drowsiness as you climb up Santa Maria Volcano for 3 or 4 hours.
