Your Semuc Champey tour will begin with 7:00 am hotel pick-up in Cobán and transfer to the National Park. The last 12 miles (20 kilometers) are along dirt road, and you’ll transfer to a 4×4 for the last stretch.
Upon arrival at the National Park, you’ll head to the Kamba Caves. The water runs through the limestone caves and has cut fascinating forms into the rock. To pass between two of the most breathtaking sections, you’ll have to swim! Get wet and get ready for outstanding rocky formations.
If you’re not exciting about swimming, no problem. You can visit the nearby dry Lanquin Caves! From the caves, hike along a short trail with your guide to reach the Semuc Champey overlook. See the outstanding limestone bridge from above and marvel at the unique natural beauty of the park! Relax and enjoy a boxed lunch at the lookout point before your return trip to Cobán.
