This day is the most arduous of the journey. We will start with breakfast at 6:30am and begin the journey at 7:30am. For about 2 hours we will descend into a natural surrounding of pine trees and coffee farms. From that point we will descend into the most difficult section of the route (30 minutes, slippery route) and finally arrive at the Nahualate river at an altitude of 1400 meters. After that point we will continue to ascend on an easier section for about 3 hours to reach an altitude of 2100 meters and have lunch.
After having lunch, we will head to Santa Clara La Laguna which takes approximately 1.5 hours and sleep overnight in an indigenous home of a Quiche family.

To be able to see the beautiful sunrise from the viewpoint of Santa Clara La Laguna we will wake up at 5:30am. Situated 5 minutes from the home.
Afterwards, we will have breakfast and begin the descent which takes around 3 hours to head to a mountain known as El Rostro Maya, situated in San Juan La Laguna.
