If you’re spending time at Las Lajas beach or on your way from east to west on the Interamericana and are interested in buying some Ngäbe artisan clothing, you should stop by Emmanuel artisan shop in Hato July. He makes cool men’s shirts with the traditional diente design, meant to emulate the mountains, rivers and animals of the central mountain regions where the Ngäbes live.
